How to Request Deletion

You can request permanent deletion of your Routine Goals account and associated data at any time, using either method below.

In the app

Open Routine Goals and go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Confirm your password when prompted and select Delete My Account. Your request is processed immediately and cannot be undone.

By email

If you can't access the app, email admin@routinegoals.com from the address linked to your account with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We verify the request and delete your account within 7 business days.

Deleting your account is permanent. Once processed, you will lose access to your habit history, streaks, progress reports and any synced smartwatch data stored in Routine Goals.

What Gets Deleted

When your deletion request is processed, we permanently delete or anonymize the following within 30 days:

Your account profile — name, email address and password
Habit data — habit types, schedules, completion history and streaks
Synced health & fitness data — steps, heart rate and pulse readings stored in our systems
Daily progress reports and in-app notification preferences

What May Be Retained

For legal, security and anti-fraud purposes, we may retain limited information for a longer period, strictly as required by law or legitimate business need:

Transaction or billing records, if you made in-app purchases, kept as required for tax and accounting purposes
Aggregated or de-identified analytics that can no longer be linked back to you
Records of the deletion request itself, kept for a limited period to confirm it was honored

None of this retained information is used to reconstruct your habit or health history, and it is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
