Routine Goals ("we", "our", "us") collects information you provide directly and information generated automatically as you use the app, including data synced from a connected smartwatch or fitness device. This includes:

• Account information — such as your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Profile information — such as your age range, weight, height or goal preferences, if you choose to provide them.
• Habit & activity data — the habits you create (meditation, fasting, yoga, chores, jogging, custom habits), your schedules, streaks and completion history.
• Device & usage data — device type, operating system, app version, crash logs and general usage analytics that help us improve the app.

2. Health & Fitness Data

When you connect a smartwatch or fitness device (such as Apple Watch, a Wear OS device, Fitbit or Garmin), Routine Goals may access and store health and fitness data including:

• Step count and movement data
• Heart rate and pulse readings
• Workout, sleep or activity data made available by your connected device or platform (e.g. Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit or Garmin Connect)

This data is used solely to power the features you use inside Routine Goals — such as your daily progress dashboard, streaks and habit reports. We do not sell health or fitness data, and we do not use it for advertising purposes. You can disconnect your smartwatch or revoke health data permissions at any time from your device's settings or the app's connected-device settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate and maintain the Routine Goals app and its features
• Sync and display your steps, heart rate, pulse and habit data
• Send reminders, streak notifications and daily progress reports
• Respond to support requests and communicate important updates
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve app performance and reliability
• Maintain the security of your account and detect fraudulent or unauthorized activity

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal or health data. We may share limited information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the app, such as cloud hosting, analytics and customer support tools, under confidentiality obligations.
• Smartwatch & fitness platforms (e.g. Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, Garmin Connect) strictly to enable the syncing features you choose to turn on.
• Legal authorities when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Routine Goals, our users or the public.
• A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to the same privacy commitments described here.

5. Data Storage & Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and regular security reviews — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to promptly address any vulnerabilities we become aware of.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and health/fitness data for as long as your account remains active, so that features like streaks and progress history continue to work. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal and health data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal, tax or fraud-prevention purposes. 7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent for data syncing at any time. You can:

• Update your profile and habit data directly in the app
• Disconnect a smartwatch or revoke health data permissions in your device settings
• Turn off notifications and reminders in the app's settings
• Request deletion of your account and associated data — see Delete Your Account

8. Children's Privacy

Routine Goals is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Third-Party Services

The app integrates with third-party platforms — such as Apple Health, Google Fit / Wear OS, Fitbit and Garmin Connect — to enable smartwatch syncing. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

10. International Users

Routine Goals is available to users in multiple countries. If you use the app outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in a different country, with data protection laws that may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the app or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
